The Vallée de Mai is a secluded valley on the island of Praslin, Seychelles, and is exactly where we’re heading today after getting in the boat at the port. Protected by UNESCO, the valley is known for its enchanting path that winds through the enormous palm leaves of the famous coco de mer. Spend the night anchoring in Baie Ste Anne, and enjoy the beauty of this natural wonder.

Today we’ll sail to La Digue, possibly the most beautiful island in Seychelles. Anchoring in Petite or Grande Anse, on La Digue’s southeast coast. The island is relatively untouched by tourists, which makes it a great place to explore by bike. There are winding trails under tall palm trees, and you can see houses with palm-thatched roofs, copra factories, fine white sand beaches and large polished rocks. If you’re lucky, you may even get to see a few giant tortoises roaming around – these gentle creatures are a true sight to behold.

Today we’ll sail around the beautiful isles of Marianne and Félicité! Afterwards, we’ll anchor at the west coast of Grande Soeur where we’ll enjoy a great lunch. Experience the unforgettable snorkelling at Coco Island, just 7km north of La Digue, which is made of large rocks with strange regular stripes carved by the sea. The area is teeming with large arborescent corals, providing a home for thousands of tropical fish which swim in front of narrow breaks and dark caverns. Afterwards, we’ll go to Curieuse and anchor for the night in Laraie Bay, on the east coast.

Today, we’ll visit Curieuse Island, where you can find the Aldabra giant tortoises. It’s a protected island and bio-reserve, so enjoy your walk around it while spotting wildlife. You’ll also find a nice beach and a small museum on the island. After that, we’ll sail to the St. Pierre islet, which is a mass of rounded rocks crowned with a clump of tall palms swaying gently in the wind. It’s a typical Seychelles scenery, so make sure to take some pictures while you're there. It's also an excellent spot for snorkelling with magnificent underwater scenery. Finally, you will go back to Laraie Bay for the night.

Today we’ll visit Aride Island, which is a haven for a wide variety of seabirds, unique vegetation and rare land birds. The 10 species of breeding seabirds include the rare roseate tern and the red-tailed tropicbird. It’s home to the world’s largest colony of lesser noddy, with more than 200,000 couples nesting there. These seabirds are incredibly important for the health of our oceans and marine ecosystems. Head back to Laraie Bay for the night.

Today, we’ll be sailing to Cousin Island, a nature reserve and bird sanctuary that’s home to some rare species and an important breeding ground for Hawksbill turtles. This small island, just 800 metres in diameter, can be visited from Monday to Friday during the morning. After spending some time on Cousin Island, we’ll return to Baie Ste Anne for the night.
