Day 1
Elbow Cay After a quick stop in town to stock up on provisions, head out to Elbow Cay, just a short sailing distance from Marsh Harbour. This charming island is home to the iconic candy-striped lighthouse, as well as some of the best beaches in the Bahamas. Spend your day lounging on the sand, swimming in the turquoise waters or exploring the island.
Day 2
Hope Town The Abaco Inn is one of the best places to eat when you're in Hope Town, and it's only a 5 km journey from the entrance of White Sound. If the docks at The Abaco are full, weââ¬â¢ll dock at Sea Spray Marina nearby where fuel, ice water and a small restaurant can also be found. Note that because navigable waters of White Sound are dredged and narrow, anchoring isn't possible for boats nor moorings available.
Day 3
Tilloo Cay Welcome to Tilloo Cay - an uninhabited island perfect for a day of exploring and relaxation. With its pristine beaches and tranquil waters, this is an ideal spot to snorkel or simply enjoy the views. Tahiti beach is a particular highlight and can be reached by following the path through the mangroves. This beach is a stunning lagoon anchorage with white sand and coconut palm trees. Just north of the Tilloo Bank lies an uninhabited island with beautiful natural shores on its east side - the perfect place to get away from it all. You can take a dinghy over to Cracker P's Restaurant & Bar for some yummy food.
Day 4
Sandy Cay Another day, another adventure! Today, we'll head to Sandy Cay, a tiny island located just north of Little Harbour. This is a great spot for swimming, sunbathing and simply taking in the breathtaking views. For a daytime anchorage, head for the west side of Sandy Cay. From here youââ¬â¢ll have dinghy access to the reefs on the east side, which form part of the Pelican Cays Sea Park with its protected coral and sea life.
Day 5
Little Harbor Next on our list is Little Harbor, home to two of the most popular beaches in the Abacos - Pete's Pub & Gallery and Nippers Beach Bar & Grill. Both beaches offer stunning views, great food and a relaxed atmosphere. If you're feeling active, there are also plenty of water sports on offer, from sailing and kayaking to stand-up paddleboarding.
Day 6
Man-O-War Cay Just a short sail from Little Harbor is Man-O-War Cay, an idyllic island known for its friendly locals and laidback atmosphere. This is the perfect place to relax and soak up the Caribbean sun. Spend your day swimming, snorkelling or simply exploring the island. Pay a visit to Albury's sailing shop, one of the best places in the Bahamas for all your sailing needs.
Day 7
Great Guana Cay Last but not least is Great Guana Cay, another stunning island in the Abacos. With its white-sand beaches and turquoise waters, this is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the views. For those who want to explore, there are plenty of hiking trails to discover, as well as some great snorkelling spots. Don't forget to stop by Nipper's Beach Bar for a refreshing cocktail! And there you have it - seven days of sailing paradise in the Bahamas! Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, there's something for everyone in Marsh Harbour.
