Day 1
On the first day of your 7-day sail, you'll explore the charming city of Palma. One of the best ways to experience the charm of Palma is to walk along its cobblestone streets while admiring the historic architecture. On your first day in town, be sure to visit the Palma Cathedral, one of the most famous Gothic cathedrals in Europe. Known as "La Seu," or "the seat," the cathedral gets its name from the bishop's seat thatââ¬â¢s located inside. After taking in the historic atmosphere of Palma, stock up on provisions and dine aboard one of the many great restaurants in town. Then, spend the night aboard your ship. You'll be ready to explore more of Palma's sights and attractions tomorrow!
Day 2
Our first stop today is the lovely beach at Cala Pi. The calm, turquoise waters here are perfect for swimming and snorkelling; there's even a beach bar and three restaurants for grabbing a bite. If you're looking to stock up on supplies, there's also a small supermarket and pharmacy nearby. This beach has quite a bit of history. Centuries ago, pirates were a problem in this area and the remnants of a medieval watchtower still remain. Despite its turbulent past, Cala Pi is now a very popular anchorage. Keep in mind though that it's a very narrow cove.
Day 3
Weââ¬â¢ll start off by heading to Colonia Sant Jordi. This beautiful town is known for its stunning white sand beaches, perfect for a relaxing day in the sun. Two of the most popular beaches are Es Carbo and Es Trenc. In town, you'll find lots of wonderful restaurants and tapas bars along Primavera Avenue, perfect for grabbing lunch or dinner. For tonight, you'll be anchoring in a sheltered spot between Gabina and Redona Islets.
Day 4
On Day 4 of your Majorca sailing adventure, enjoy a scenic sail north to the charming port of Cala Figuera. This hidden gem is known as ""Little Venice"" by locals and features quaint whitewashed cottages and boathouses stretching down to the water's edge. Grab lunch or dinner aboard your vessel and savour the peaceful natural setting, or venture ashore to sample some of the delicious local cuisines at one of the nearby cafes or restaurants.
Day 5
Today is the day to explore Cala Figuera and all of its small coves. First on the list is Calo des Moro. This cove has a sandy bottom, crystal clear water and a beautiful small beach. Next up are the anchorage areas east of Colonia between the islets of Guardis and Moltona. There are no services available here, but it's the perfect place to take a swim and go snorkelling.
Day 6
If you're looking for a quiet beach to relax on while in Mallorca, Sa Rapita is the perfect spot. This village is located on the southwest coast of the island and features a long stretch of white sandy beach. The water here is shallow and incredibly clear, making it ideal for windsurfing and swimming. There's also a beach bar and restaurant, so you can spend all day lounging on the sand without having to worry about getting hungry.
Day 7
Whilst heading back to Palma, you'll get to see the stunning Cap Blanc coastline. This area is well-known for its rocky cliffs and secluded coves, making it the perfect place to take a dip or go for a swim. The Calo des Cap d'Alt and Cala de Cap Falco are two of the best spots for snorkelling and swimming. With this, we conclude our spectacular 7-day sailing itinerary around Mallorca.
