Day 1
Portorosa We'll start our journey in the port town of Portorosa. This is a great place to get your bearings and explore Sicily before we set sail. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to keep you busy. You can even take a dip in the crystal-clear waters if you're feeling adventurous.
Day 2
Vulcano & Lipari Welcome to Vulcano! This is the first of Sicily's three active volcanoes. Despite its name, Vulcano is actually quite calm these days - but that doesn't make it any less impressive. One of Vulcano's most notable features is the ""Mud Baths"" which are said to have therapeutic properties. Before the night falls, we'll sail towards Lipari - the largest of Sicily's Aeolian Islands. We'll anchor on this island to spend the night and explore the bustling streets of Lipari Town.
Day 3
Panarea & Baia Milazzese After a leisurely breakfast, we'll set sail for the island of Panarea. This is the smallest and chicest of Sicily's Aeolian Islands, and it's a great place to relax and soak up the Mediterranean sun. In the afternoon, we'll head to Baia Milazzese - a stunning bay that's perfect for swimming, sunbathing and simply taking in the natural beauty of Sicily.
Day 4
Stromboli & Punta della Lena This morning we'll sail to the island of Stromboli. Just like Vulcano, Stromboli is also one of the three active volcanoes in Sicily. You can hike to the summit for an incredible view of the crater, or simply enjoy a leisurely stroll around the island. Stromboli is well known for its black sand beaches, so make sure to take a dip! In the afternoon, we'll sail to Punta della Lena - a beautiful promontory that's perfect for watching the sunset and spending the night under the vast sky.
Day 5
Salina Are you ready for some more island hopping? We'll start the day with a sail to Salina - the second largest of Sicily's Aeolian Islands. This is a great place to explore, as there are plenty of hiking trails that offer stunning views. You can also visit one of the many vineyards on the island, or simply relax on one of the black-sand beaches. There are also plenty of wine bars and restaurants to keep you busy in the evening. We'll anchor at Santa Marina Salina port for the night.
Day 6
Vulcano If you hadn't had the chance to explore Vulcano on Day 2, today is your chance! This island is full of dramatic landscapes and stunning views. Hiking through the top of the crater is a must-do, as we mentioned before, Vulcano is well known for its "Mud Baths" which are said to have therapeutic properties. You can also enjoy some of the local food and wine in one of the many restaurants on the island.
Day 7
Tindari & Portorosa We'll start the day with a sail to Tindari - a small town with a big history. This is a great place to explore the Roman ruins, as well as the Greek theatre which is still used for performances today. In the afternoon we'll head back to Portorosa to wrap up our Sicily charter.
