Day 1
Day 1 of your sailing trip in St. Vincent will take you from Blue Lagoon Marina on the southwest coast to Britannia Bay on the island of Mustique. The journey should take around two hours, and you can find provisioning and amenities at the IGA supermarket in Blue Lagoon Marina or take advantage of the full provisioning service that the yacht offers. Once moored in Britannia Bay, head ashore for cocktails at Basilââ¬â¢s Bar or catch a taxi up the hill to the Firefly Restaurant for sundowners and a glorious dinner.
Day 2
Day 2 begins with breakfast and then sailing to the beautiful Tobago Cays. This is one of the most breathtaking anchorages in the world, and itââ¬â¢s protected by an enormous horseshoe reef. There are amazing snorkelling opportunities here, as well as the chance to swim with turtles. You can also explore ashore with the nearly tame iguanas and tortoises. In the evening, you can choose between a wonderful lobster or fish beach BBQ. Either option is great with one of the local guides, or if you have experience, light up the BBQ yourself on board and dine under the stars.
Day 3
Today is a day to explore the Tobago Cays. This area is well known for its extraordinary sea life and beautiful white sand beaches. There are plenty of places to snorkel and explore, as well as opportunities to climb to the summits of the islands for stunning views. Be sure to watch for the tame iguanas and land tortoises that live here.
Day 4
After leaving the Tobago Cays, weââ¬â¢ll sail north towards Mayreau and Union Island. Once we reached the sheltered waters of Petit St Vincent, we explore the tiny sand islet of Mopion. This islet has a single coconut thatch sun shelter, which makes for a great place to relax and enjoy the views. Afterwards, weââ¬â¢ll head over to the anchorage on Petit St Vincent and spend the night there. You can dine exclusively at the resort or arrange a water taxi for excellent local food at Palm Beach Restaurant on Petite Martinique.
Day 5
After a wonderful breakfast on the boat, weââ¬â¢ll set sail downwind for an hour to Chatham Bay on Union Island. This large anchorage has a sweeping beach under high hills and is perfect for snorkelling. Thereââ¬â¢s also excellent walking ashore. For dinner, we'll head to Seckie and Vanessa's restaurant on the beach. If youââ¬â¢re lucky and arrive in the season, this frequently ends up as a dancing party in the sand.
Day 6
The sixth day of sailing will be short, which allows us plenty of time to explore the tiny island of Mayreau. This is a beautiful stop, with a lovely white sand beach and some good walking trails. The best view on the island can be found at the Catholic Church, which is a short hike from the beach. For dinner, Dennisââ¬â¢s Hideaway in the village is a great option, with some awesome views of the bay. After a leisurely 4-hour sail over to Bequia, you'll have the rest of the day to explore this laid-back and attractive island. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from, so take your time finding the perfect spot for dinner. After dinner, take some time to explore the island. There's plenty to see and do, like the hills and the views, before heading to sleep onboard.
Day 7
The final day of the sailing trip takes us back to Blue Lagoon Marina, where you can disembark and leave, or stay for a few more days in St. Vincent. There are plenty of excellent hiking trails on the island, as well as beautiful gardens and old plantations to visit. You may also want to check out the Pirates of the Caribbean set at Wallilabou Bay. This beautiful island is home to some of the best sailing conditions in the world, and with Rodney Bay Marina as your base, you'll have everything you need right at your fingertips. So come experience the best of the Caribbean with us - you won't be disappointed!
