Day 1
Turk Marin Gocek Arriving in Gocek, youââ¬â¢ll be able to admire the stunning Turkish coastline as you meet the team and prepare for your first destination. Exploring this little town is a must, and with its beautiful marina, itââ¬â¢s the perfect place to start your sailing adventure. Gocek is home to numerous bars and restaurants as well as vibrant nightlife, so you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining options.
Day 2
Kapi Creek We all love a good challenge, and Kapi Creek is the perfect place to start. This sheltered anchorage is only accessible at high tide, so youââ¬â¢ll need to time your arrival perfectly. Don't forget to bring your diving gear as Kapi Creek is well-known for its crystal clear waters which make for some great diving conditions. Not feeling a good swim? You can always go ashore and explore the beautiful hiking trails that wind their way through the lush vegetation of Kapi Creek.
Day 3
Cold Water Bay You might already guess where this bay got its name from - this is one of the colder sailing destinations in Turkey, but that doesn't mean it isn't beautiful! This bay has cold spring water that's been running through the rocks for centuries, and it's a great place to take a refreshing dip. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also go for a hike up to the nearby ancient city of Kayakoy. This is a great way to learn more about the history of Turkey as well as get some stunning views from the top. With its dramatic cliffs and secluded coves, itââ¬â¢s easy to see why this place is so popular to both sailors and tourists alike.
Day 4
Fethiye Fethiye is a historic town thatââ¬â¢s full of character. Youââ¬â¢ll be able to explore the old town with its traditional Turkish architecture and winding streets. This is a great place to go shopping for souvenirs, as there are many local shops selling traditional Turkish goods. Fethiye is also home to some of the best restaurants in Turkey, so youââ¬â¢ll be spoiled for choice when it comes to dining options.
Day 5
Karacoaren Time to get away from the hustle and bustle of town life and head out to the quiet anchorage of Karacoaren. This is a great place to relax and enjoy peace and quiet, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You can go for walks on the nearby hiking trails, or just sit back and enjoy the tranquility of this secluded spot.
Day 6
Sarsala Be ready for a thrilling sail into Sarsala Bay, as the entrance is guarded by two large rocks. This is a beautiful spot, with its clear turquoise waters and sandy beaches. Itââ¬â¢s the perfect place to go for a swim or go snorkelling, as thereââ¬â¢s an abundance of marine life to be seen. Sarsala is also home to an ancient city, which is a great place to explore if you're interested in learning more about the history of Turkey. The views from the top are also incredible, so itââ¬â¢s definitely worth the climb!
Day 7
Gocek After a week of sailing and exploring, it's time to head back to Gocek to end your journey. You'll have plenty of time in the morning to further explore this charming town, before heading back to the marina in the afternoon. Don't forget to enjoy one last international cuisine at West Cafe.
