Day 1
Cefalù To start our journey, we'll set a course to the charming town of Cefalù. This historic seaside town is located on the north coast of Sicily and is known for its medieval architecture and beautiful beaches. You can stroll around the old city's maze of tiny streets that fan out from Piazza del Duomo, which is a lovely square with steps on one end leading up to a Norman cathedral. The Temple of Diana, a sacred site devoted to the goddess of water is situated on its rocky slopes, and at the top, you can see Palermo in the distance.
Day 2
Lipari After a day of exploring Cefalù, we'll set sail for Lipari, the largest island in the Aeolian archipelago, home to one of the most active volcanoes in Italy. One of Lipari's most thrilling activities is to go around the island by boat, appreciating its beautiful bays. The most famous beach in Lipari is Spiaggia di Canneto, where the black volcanic sand is a stark contrast to the emerald green waters.
Day 3
Salina On the third day of our charter, we'll sail to Salina, one of the greenest and second-largest islands in the Aeolian archipelago. The island is home to two volcanoes, one of which is still active. Mt. Fossa delle Felci is one of the most popular hiking spots on the island and offers stunning views of the other islands in the archipelago. We highly recommend to have a taste of the renowned granita, a local crushed-ice treat on Salina.
Day 4
Vulcano Continuing our Aeolian journey, we'll arive at Vulcano Island, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Aeolian Islands. According to Greek mythology, this Island was the site of the blacksmiths of the god of fire, metal work, and fine arts - Hephaestus. The island is still an active volcano, and one of its main attractions is the Mud Baths, where you can relax and rejuvenate your skin in the therapeutic volcanic mud.
Day 5
Panarea On day five we'll sail to Panarea, one of the smallest and most chic islands in the Aeolian chain. This lovely island is known for its luxury hotels and celebrity guests, who come to enjoy the tranquility and natural beauty of the island. One of Panarea's most popular beaches is Spiaggia del Postino, which was once voted one of the top ten sexiest beaches in the world. Panarea, along with its tiny islets of Basiluzzo, Spinazzola, Lisca Bianca, Dattilo, Bottaro and Lisca Nera (only a few of which are still visible), forms its own minuscule archipelago.
Day 6
Stromboli After a day of relaxation on Panarea, we'll sail to the island of Stromboli, one of the most active volcanoes in Europe. You can hike up to the crater to see lava spewing from the volcano, or take a boat tour around the island to see the lava from the sea. The small fishing village of Ginostra, accessible only by animal trails on the rocky side of Stromboli; San Vincenzo, the medieval borgo surrounded by very particular white house-boats; and the Strombolicchio, a huge boulder formed from an eruption ââ¬â topped by a large lighthouse are among the other sites to see.
Day 7
Alicudi and Filicudi On our final day, we'll sail to the islands of Alicudi and Filicudi, two of the most untouched and unspoiled islands in the Aeolian archipelago. These two volcanic islands are known for their pristine beaches, crystal clear waters, and lush vegetation. The best way to explore these islands is by foot, so be sure to pack your hiking shoes!
